C with embedded systems C-ISAM, Informix

A candidate with approximately 5–12 years of experience in application support, maintenance, and enhancements using Informix ESQL/C, C, and CISAM, as detailed below:

• Strong communication, negotiation skills, and interpersonal capabilities, including the ability to lead discussions between multiple teams and stakeholders and conclude them to a logical end.
• Strong in application program development using Informix ESQL/C and C language.
• Good understanding of the Unix operating system and Unix commands.
• Proficient in writing Unix shell scripts and Awk scripts.
• Knowledge of SCCS for source control and experience in setting up makefiles for application compilation and deployment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience in C language and CISAM for accessing and updating files.
• Hands-on experience in multithreading and fork programming in C language.
• Hands-on experience in programming to handle ISO 8583 and IFSF (International Forecourt Standards Forum) protocols.
• Ability to handle complex multi-tier systems and perform end-to-end design.
• Capability to manage tasks from designing applications to deployment on test and production servers.
• Proactive individual with strong verbal and written communication skills, able to work independently.
