My client is a venture-backed, blockchain-native FinTech startup. Java Engineer - Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in Java (Spring/Spring Boot);
• Build robust APIs for blockchain interactions and fintech workflows;
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to support financial data at scale;
• Collaborate with product, security, and team members in a high-performance, cross-functional team;
• Optimise performance and security of backend services for a globally distributed user base.

Java Engineer - Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional Java backend development;
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Security, etc.);
• Experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis);
• Solid grasp of software architecture, scalability, and microservices design;
• Fluency in writing clean, testable, and maintainable code.

• Experience with blockchain protocols, smart contracts, or cryptographic systems;
• Background in finance, insurance, or FinTech startups or enterprises;
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure);
• Contributions to open-source projects or blockchain communities.
