Role Description

This is a part-time, off-site role for a Social Media and SEO Specialist located in Colombo. The specialist will be responsible for creating and managing social media content, implementing social media marketing strategies, executing digital marketing campaigns, and enhancing online presence through effective SEO strategies. Other routine tasks include monitoring and analyzing performance metrics, staying updated with industry trends, and communicating effectively with management.

Qualifications

If you do not have minimum 3 years of experience doing SEO and social media management for a professional firm, this role will not suit you.

• Minimum 2–3 years’ hands-on experience in managing business social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn) and executing content strategies.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing SEO strategies that drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
• Demonstrated ability to create, schedule, and analyze social media posts and campaigns using tools
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools such as Surfer SEO.
• Content writing and copywriting skills for web, blog, and social media, with a focus on clarity, professionalism, and brand voice.
• Ability to conduct keyword research and competitor analysis, and implement on-page and off-page SEO best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field would be advantageous.
• Certifications in SEO, Google Analytics or similar is preferred.
