Job Description:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline or equivalent experience with 12+ Minimum Experience
- 5+ years of Healthcare payer industry preferably in the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) and or Medical Benefits Management (MBM) aka “ Integrated Healthcare solutions” space
- 5+ years of IT Project Management experience in Agile (preferably SAFe) environments, managing directing and planning complex projects. Industry Certifications preferred
- 5+ years of experience with Data Analytics-based projects leveraging data to create tailored solutions
Overview
This Project management Sr Advisor will support various projects in the clients Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) and Medical Benefits Management (MBM) solution group. This service aims to improve the affordability of prescription medications and access to medical treatments. This service leverages data insights to create tailored solutions that tackle rising costs and enhance the pharmaceutical value chain by performing Drug Trend management, formulary / supply chain excellence and developing care value programs. This service integrates pharmacy and medical benefits management, offering a more holistic approach to patient care.
Duties:
- Provides counsel and advice to top management on significant IT Project Management matters, often requiring coordination between organizations.
- Responsible for managing, directing and planning multiple complex projects, or occasionally one highly complex project, consisting of one or more project teams.
- Utilizes agile methodologies to enhance project flexibility and responsiveness.
- Facilitates agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement.
- Responsible for coordinating, scheduling and assigning project tasks, team building, maintaining working relationships with client functional areas outside of IT.
- Applies project development methodologies and reporting techniques to indicate project status.
- May manage and direct one or more project teams of project managers, specialists, analysts and programmers to meet complex project objectives.
- Reviews, evaluates and formulates project plans, schedules and budgets.
- Allocates staff and budget resources to meet changing corporate needs.
- Identifies and negotiates schedules, milestones and resources required to meet project objectives.
- Organizes and guides project operations through the use of methodologies accepted by the industry.
- Evaluates progress and reports progress in terms of quality and performance metrics common to IT projects.
- Modifies schedules as required.
- Works with client departments to coordinate systems testing, installation, training and support.
- Keeps informed of technical and managerial advances in IT.
- Focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines.
