Position Overview

We are seeking a Web / Front-End Designer and Developer who can take static designs or creative direction and build high-performing websites using Webflow or a similar no-code platform. This is a freelance, project-based role with the potential for ongoing work.

You will collaborate with Longacre’s internal creative and digital teams to develop clean, responsive, brand-consistent websites that support our clients' strategic communications needs. In some cases, you’ll be working from complete design files; in others, you’ll be asked to independently design layouts using brand guidelines and direction provided by our creative team.

The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with professional clients in fast-moving environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build branded websites and landing pages using Webflow
• Develop layouts from scratch using client brand guidelines when full mockups are not provided
• Translate existing designs (Figma, Adobe, etc.) into functional, responsive websites
• Set up CMS collections, forms, and content structures for easy updates
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile optimization, and accessibility
• Implement basic interactions, animations, or custom code as needed
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform quality assurance
• Collaborate with the creative team to align design with business goals
• Stay updated on new Webflow features, plug-ins, and capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in front-end or web design
• Proven expertise in Webflow (portfolio required)
• Strong understanding of responsive design, UX principles, and CMS structure as well as familiarity with third-party tool integration (e.g., Airtable, Jetboost)
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and site performance best practices; knowledge of additional programming languages such as JavaScript or PHP a plus
• Familiarity with SEO-friendly markup and accessibility fundamentals / ADA compliance
• Comfort working with brand guidelines and translating them into cohesive digital experiences
• Experience working with corporate, finance, or professional services clients a plus
• Ability to manage deadlines independently and communicate clearly with internal teams
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Rate & Application

The standard freelance rate for this role is $70–$90 per hour, depending on experience and scope. Project-based pricing may also be discussed.
