Job Description
WHAT WE’RE DOING
Lockheed Martin is partnering with PG&E, Salesforce, and Wells Fargo to deliver EMBERPOINT™, an initiative designed to transform wildfire prevention, detection, and response across the United States.
EMBERPOINT integrates advanced sensing technologies, artificial intelligence, and real-time command-and-control capabilities to help detect wildfires earlier, prevent escalation, and improve coordination between first responders, utilities, and emergency management organizations.
To support this mission, we are building a scalable cloud-based data platform that enables rapid ingestion, storage, and analysis of large volumes of operational and sensor data. We are seeking a Software Integration & Test Engineer to plan, implement, test, verify, and maintain solutions across our platform.
THE WORK
As a Software Integration & Test Engineer, you will own the end‑to‑end software‑centric integration and verification activities that validate the software stack (data‑lake services, AI/ML pipelines, command‑and‑control UI, and supporting middleware) that support the EMBERPOINT data platform. This role works side‑by‑side with the Lead Software Engineer, Lead HW Engineer, AWS Infrastructure Architect, DevSecOps Engineer, Data Engineer, and the Innovations Team to ensure that every software release is fully integrated, secure, and meets mission performance targets.
Who We Are
Our team is building the cloud and data infrastructure that powers next-generation wildfire detection and response technologies. We work at the intersection of cloud engineering, large-scale data platforms, and mission-driven technology designed to protect communities and critical infrastructure.
We value engineers who combine strong operational expertise with a systems perspective and who enjoy integrating and verifying reliable, scalable data services.
Who You Are
Desired Skills
Prior work on real‑time command‑and‑control (C2) or HMI systems requiring sub‑second UI latency.
Familiarity with AI/ML model testing (SageMaker Feature Store, model‑monitoring).
Other Important Information
