What You Will Be Doing

Are you passionate about turning complex data into powerful insights that drive real-world impact? Join our F-35 Sustainment Engineering team as a Senior Data Scientist and help shape the future of advanced fighter jet performance and reliability.

In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting the F-35 Sustainment Reliability Analytics Team, developing cutting-edge tools and predictive models to identify and mitigate performance degradation across the fleet. You’ll work alongside a dynamic team of analysts and engineers to build automated solutions and machine learning capabilities that support both internal teams and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a key technical interface for F-35 Air System performance data related to Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) and sustainment metrics.
• Develop machine learning algorithms and advanced data tools that enhance decision-making and system performance.
• Contribute to a web-based, user-friendly interface with built-in predictive analytics features.
• Lead data analysis efforts through all stages: collection, cleaning, modeling, visualization, and presentation.
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis to uncover actionable insights, trends, and performance drivers across large, complex datasets.
• Apply statistical methods to validate hypotheses and recommend system-level improvements.
• Perform root cause analyses to support sustainment improvement initiatives and identify data-driven solutions.
• Proactively engage with stakeholders and customers, communicating findings through clear and impactful performance metric reporting.
• Maintain and organize a technical library of analytical reports and performance documentation.
