Role Overview:

As a Senior Software Engineer at Locate.ai, you’ll work with a small, but tight team of engineers to advance our platform to the next level and beyond. Your contributions and influence will help shape the future of our Engineering team.

What you will do:

• Design, implement, and test AI agents alongside an internal MCP server designed to streamline CRE broker workflows
• Pioneer technological pathways to expand our ecosystem of AI Agents
• Improve, evolve, and maintain our site selection platform built with Ruby on Rails, Vue, the Google Maps API, and more.
• Own all parts of the stack (frontend, backend, and infrastructure)
• Gain an understanding of the commercial real estate domain
• Contribute to the maturity of our engineering department by imparting knowledge gained from past and present experiences
• Weigh in on challenging technical and organizational decision points

Things we look for:

• +5 years of modern, full stack engineering experience
• An aptitude for learning new technologies and adapting to change
• Self-motivation and a genuine interest in diving deep
• Self starter with a propensity for action
• Low ego

• Start up experience
• Languages: Ruby, Javascript/Typescript, Python, SQL
• Frameworks/Libraries: Rails, Rspec, Vue, Vuetify, Google Maps API, FastAPI, Pandas, PyTest
• Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, Redis
• Infrastructure/Devops: AWS, Hetzner, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes
• Machine learning/data engineering: scikit-lean, Spark, S3
• Conceptual: Geospatial data, CRE industry
