Responsibilities
The Marketing Manager & Strategist will build brand reputation, generate sales leads, and cultivate interested prospective clients. We’d love to hear your ideas, but here are a few areas where we can use your talents:
- Researching and analyzing our client base and landscape
- Working with team members to craft a marketing strategy
- Caring for our brand identity over multiple touchpoints, marketing, and social media channels
- Creating and managing content for social media marketing for company
- Copywriting on various platforms, including blogs, lead generation campaigns, client projects, etc.
- Enhancing our thought leadership and facilitating all aspects speaking engagements and events
- Supporting employees on their internal and external communications
- Supporting the sales team on our partnership program
- Strategizing, planning, and running strategic marketing and lead generation campaigns to meet goals
- Producing marketing and sales materials, including creating and updating one-pagers, presentations, and case studies
- Harnessing our team’s wisdom and increasing our thought leadership, content marketing, and social engagement
- Measuring the outcomes of our marketing work, particularly as it pertains to sales and revenue goals
From time to time, this role will have secondary responsibilities to support our production and internal communication teams. In support of our production team, you’ll consult with our staff and clients to devise strategies that aid our clients’ business.
This role requires a wide breadth of creativity, collaboration, and a strategic mind. A successful person in this role will have personal motivation for seeing project to completion, building community and culture, experimenting, and spreading cheer and joy all around.

Location
This is a fully remote position with travel 1-3 times per quarter. While we accept all applicants, we’ll give preference to candidates within the northeast U.S.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing, PR/communications, copywriting, sales, and/or creative design
Required Professional Skills
- Good verbal, presentation, interpersonal, and written communication skills, and ability to instill trust and confidence
- Excellent ability to write and edit impactful and alluring copy over a variety of mediums
- Excellent understanding of design and branding principles
- Excellent organizational and thoughtful planning skills to manage multiple initiatives to successful completion
- Demonstrated ability to manage leadership expectations, ask good questions, and overcome unforeseen barriers
- Excellent attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and pride in producing quality work
- Ability to effectively communicate and rationalize creative and technical concepts
- Staying abreast of best practices and trends for content marketing and lead generation
- Proficient and adept at using GenAI to speed up and automate work (but still be human)
- An innate drive to learn new tools, technologies, and trends

- Proficient ability to do graphic design and use design software
- Experience and passion for community and culture building
