Part-Time Digital Marketing & Social Media Strategist

Location: Remote (Maine)
Schedule: Part-Time with Opportunity for Full-Time Transition
Compensation: Based on experience: Position starting hourly and moving to salary once full-time based on experience.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced marketing professional to join our team in a hybrid role as Digital Marketing & Social Media Strategist. This part-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, can think strategically across multiple platforms, and enjoys working directly with clients to uncover and achieve their goals.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing high-level marketing strategy, collaborating with our internal departments (design, ads, content + more), and managing social media implementation with the help of our support team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Marketing Strategy
• Serve as the strategic lead on assigned client accounts
• Work closely with our Project Manager to ensure strategies are executed efficiently and aligned with client timelines
• Develop comprehensive, goal-oriented marketing strategies across digital platforms
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., SEO, website, design, ads) to ensure alignment and execution
• Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess progress and adapt strategies as needed
• Social Media Management
• Oversee and contribute to content planning, creation, and scheduling across social platforms (primarily Meta).
• Ensure brand voice and goals are consistent across all channels
• Monitor and analyze, analytics and engagement to guide optimization and growth
• Coordinate with our support team to ensure timely implementation

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in marketing strategy and/or social media management
• Proven ability to develop and implement multi-channel strategies
• Proficiency with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook)
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Willingness to work with clients in person from time to time as needed
• Based in Maine
