Senior Software Engineer - AI Agents

Lobby is a B2B AI startup transforming travel and hospitality operations through AI-driven solutions. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to help advance our mission of automating repetitive tasks, enabling hospitality staff to dedicate their attention to guest experiences—starting with streamlining email reservation workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end systems using Python, Django, and AWS services.
• Lead and contribute the development and optimization of AI pipelines.
• Take full ownership of new features from concept to deployment, ensuring high-quality and maintainable code.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in back-end software development.
• Proven expertise in Python and relational database technologies (e.g., SQL).
• Ability to contribute to front-end development using React and Next.js.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design principles.
• Demonstrated experience in building and deploying applications within cloud environments, particularly AWS.
• Deep interest and practical experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning; personal projects in this domain are considered a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to technical challenges.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
