Cybersecurity Engineer (Solutions Services Program Manager)
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen and safeguard our organization’s technology infrastructure, applications, and data.
The Qualifications We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent years of experience).
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or related IT security roles.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management tools.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python, PowerShell, or Bash preferred).
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.) and encryption methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC preferred.

- Design, implement, and maintain security tools and solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM platforms, and endpoint protection.
- Monitor networks, applications, and systems for security threats, incidents, and vulnerabilities.
- Investigate and respond to security alerts, incidents, and breaches, ensuring timely remediation and documentation.
- Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans.
- Partner with IT teams to apply patches, updates, and secure configurations.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
- Implement identity and access management controls, including multifactor authentication and role-based access.
- Assist with compliance initiatives such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, or other regulatory frameworks.
- Support employee security awareness training and promote a culture of cybersecurity.
- Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to proactively strengthen defenses.
