Role Overview:

As a VMS Program Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our success in client vendor management systems—connecting top-tier talent to high-impact opportunities while ensuring a seamless experience for both consultants and client partners.
This role blends recruiting expertise with program management, requiring strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to fulfillment, and a sharp eye on performance data. You’ll oversee the end-to-end talent lifecycle—from sourcing and screening to submission and onboarding—within the framework of our VMS partnerships. You’ll also partner closely with internal teams and client contacts to meet SLAs, optimize fulfillment strategies, and continuously improve scorecard results.

This is an Independent Contractor (1099) project estimated to be 40 hrs/week for 12 months
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
VMS Management & Fulfillment
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with VMS client partners, reacting quickly to specific talent needs with the best, right fit for each need
- Manage the end-to-end talent process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting candidates for submission, within the VMS program’s associated requirements framework
- When required, work with internal stakeholders to validate client requirements using the organization’s VMS rules of engagement
- Leverage various sourcing platforms, including social media, networking, alumni and community networks, to identify and attract top-tier talent
- Build and actively manage candidate pipelines, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified candidates to meet VMS SLAs and requirements
- Conduct in-depth interviews to evaluate, identify and summarize relevant experience and skills, evaluate technical skills and abilities in relation to job requirements.
- Negotiate rates with consultants in line with VMS opportunity rates
- Accountable for internal L&T targets associated with VMS program participation, including, but not limited to total contract value earned
- Responsible for L&T’s VMS scorecard, including analyzing performance drivers and initiating continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness
- Engage in regular meetings with VMS program partners to provide updates on recruitment progress, address concerns, and strategize on on-going talent needs
Data & Insights
- Maintain strong data integrity, documentation and regular reporting rhythms and updates to key stakeholders
- Actively advocate for the L&T VMS program, leveraging data to drive action with internal and external stakeholders
- Work and track daily activities within the ATS and CRM
- Develop ATS and CRM-produced weekly reporting on key data points, aligned to scorecard improvement initiatives, job fulfillment and revenue attainment
Differentiation & Value Props
- In partnership with cross-functional teams, develop and maintain a best-in-class experience for consultants hired through VMS programs
- Ensure a seamless consultant and client onboarding experience and engagement model that differentiates L&T from peer organizations
- Build a reputation for meeting and exceeding the expectations of clients being serviced through VMS programs
About You:
- 3–5 years of experience in talent sourcing and recruiting, with a proven ability to identify and engage high-quality candidates.
- 3–5 years of experience in program or project management, ideally within a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Hands-on experience with VMS platforms such as Beeline and Fieldglass; confident navigating and fulfilling within VMS frameworks.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level vendor procurement environments—experience supporting companies like T-Mobile, Microsoft, Amazon, or Starbucks is a strong plus.
- Highly organized, data-driven, and comfortable managing to performance metrics and SLAs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with internal stakeholders, external partners, and candidates.
- Outstanding communication and project management skills.
- Global and cultural awareness; proven competency for working in diverse and inclusive teams.
