Azure Data Scientist/Engineer

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement end-to-end data architecture solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize data models, pipelines, and integration frameworks using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and other tools.
• Cleanse, validate, and transform large datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting and analytics platforms.
• Integrate and harmonize data from multiple ERP systems and other enterprise applications into a unified reporting and analytics environment.
• Define, implement, and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Monitor and optimize pipeline performance, proactively addressing bottlenecks and scalability challenges.
• Document data processes, workflows, and standards to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and Power BI developers to understand requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
• Stay current with Azure innovations and recommend best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• Hands-on experience working with and integrating data from multiple ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, or similar).
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or Spark.
• Experience with Azure services (Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB).
• Familiarity with Delta Lake, Spark, and Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
• Background in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and big data technologies.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Azure certifications preferred.
