As an experienced online educator (LINC Fellow), the candidate will work as an independent contractor of LINC and serve a diverse international student body for Masters-level programs studying at premier Australian and Asian universities. The educator will be responsible for the day-to-day academic support and delivery responsibilities, working under the guidance of an experienced university faculty member. Additionally, the LINC Fellow will receive specialized training and active mentorship from LINC’s team to excel at online teaching.

Position Summary:

Role: Online Instructor
Location: Remote (Online)
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 6-Month (14th April to 27th Oct 2025)
Compensation: ~ INR 8-9 Lakhs (for the entire duration)
Availability Window: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM IST (Instructor to deliver live sessions in this window)

Role Description:

The Online Instructor will lead an interactive, hands-on Tableau-based Data Practitioner Boot Camp, delivering engaging live sessions (4 hours/day, 5 days/week). Key responsibilities include -

Deliver engaging live sessions based on a pre-designed curriculum. The topics would be (but are not limited to) - UNIX, Github, Agile, Pandas, Numpy, Python, Regression, SQL, Decision Trees, APIS, Clustering, Dashboarding, etc.
Integrate interactive elements such as quizzes, demonstrations, practice exercises, and presentations during the sessions
Mentor and guide students throughout the program, offering academic and career support.
Provide constructive feedback on student progress and performance.
Facilitate hands-on exercises and real-world projects to reinforce learning.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the data science field.

Who are we looking for?

Educational Background:

Preferably a Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning from Tier-1 institutions (e.g., IITs, NITs, BITS) or other renowned universities.
Professional certifications in relevant domains obtained in the last 3–5 years. Examples include, but are not limited to: - IBM Certified Data Architect, Google Professional Data Engineer, Tableau Desktop Specialist, AWS / Microsoft Certifications in Data visualisation, management or analytics
Proficiency in Python, SQL, Tableau, GitHub, and ML frameworks.
Note: Advanced-level expertise in Tableau is mandatory

Professional Experience:

The candidate must have 10–15 years of combined experience in both corporate and academic/teaching roles -

Industry Experience -
Must have a minimum of 10 years of industry experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, Analytics, or a related domain, preferably in leading technology MNCs such as Genpact, IBM, Infosys, Accenture, Deloitte, Amazon, etc.
Should have held roles such as Data Architect, Data Engineer, Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Scientist, Machine Learning/Big Data Engineer, or Data Governance Specialist.
Must have experience working with global teams based in the Americas or EMEA regions
Teaching / Training Experience -
Minimum of 3 years of experience conducting workshops, corporate training, and boot camps in Data Science or related fields.
Experience in teaching or mentoring working professionals with leading organizations such as Emeritus, UpGrad, etc., or at prestigious institutions is an advantage.
