VP of Organizational Design

Role Description The VP of Organizational Design is a full-time remote role responsible for shaping and optimizing the company’s structure, processes, and culture to support strategic goals. This position leads organizational design initiatives, including analysis of current structures, development of future-state models, and implementation of design changes across teams and functions. The VP collaborates with executive leadership to align organizational design with business strategy, improve decision-making flows, and enhance cross-functional collaboration. Daily activities include conducting organizational assessments, facilitating workshops, guiding design-thinking sessions, and overseeing change management plans to ensure smooth adoption of new structures and practices. The role also involves mentoring leaders on organizational best practices, setting design standards, and monitoring outcomes to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Design Strategy and Design Management, with a track record of leading large-scale organizational or business design initiatives.
• Proficiency in Design Thinking and Product Design, with the ability to apply human-centered approaches to organizational structures, processes, and employee experiences.
• Experience in Visual Design as it relates to communicating complex organizational models, frameworks, and processes in clear, accessible formats.
• Extensive leadership experience in organizational design, organizational development, or related fields, ideally within financial services or professional services environments.
• Advanced skills in change management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to influence at executive levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience with organizational diagnostics, workforce planning, and performance metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present strategic recommendations and complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Design, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
