Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative Partner: Work closely alongside business colleagues and engage with customers to tackle technical challenges, ensuring quality through collaborative, test-driven, and behavior-driven development practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of software engineering experience.
  • Proficient in multiple programming languages, with strong skills in object-oriented languages—preferably Typescript and REACT.
  • Practiced with AI.
  • Experience working within agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or XP.
  • Successful track record in platform modernization, leveraging technologies including REST APIs, microservices, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), and frameworks like Java, Node.js, and Spring Boot.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate your technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative and adaptable approach, demonstrating initiative and strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Understanding of technology concepts, business operations, design and development tools, system architecture, and technical standards.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
