Sr. C# Software Engineer

LHH is looking to hire multiple C#/.NET Core Software Engineers. Candidates MUST have current Angular experience w/ NgRX and AWS. The role will be 100% remote and you MUST be able to work as a w2 employee of LHH to be considered.

Our client (a company in the higher education industry -- not an online university for clarification) is looking for a couple talented Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to our Director of Software Development, you'll be part of a collaborative group of developers dedicated to designing and developing cutting-edge web-based and mobile software products. Microservices Development/Architecture is very nice to have. This role will be 100% remote.

What We're Looking For:

• Location: Candidates must reside in the continental United States (any time zone is fine).
• Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. We seek candidates with 5-8 years of experience in software development.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Angular.js 8+, Typescript, Microsoft .Net Core 2.0+, C#, Visual Studio IDE, ORM, HTML5, CSS3, and Micro Service Oriented Architecture using Web API. Experience in managing state in Angular 2+ Applications, SQL queries, and stored procedures is essential.
• Development Process: Expertise in all components of the development process, including code repository (GitHub) and branching strategy, code review, coding standards, and code deployment. You'll be expected to evaluate and make recommendations based on complex Proof of Concepts.
• Security Knowledge: Understanding of OWASP Top 10 security vulnerabilities and secure coding practices.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication (verbal and written) and team collaboration skills. A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.

Ideal Candidates Will Also Have:

• Experience with AWS Cloud Services like DynamoDB, Elastic Cache, S3, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in managing state in Angular 8+ Applications using NGRX.
• Familiarity with mobile hybrid frameworks like Ionic.
• CI/CD automation cloud experience.
• .NET or AWS certification.
• A passion for higher education is a plus.
