Our client is seeking a proactive contract Marketing Analyst to join their team. This role involves analyzing marketing data to inform strategic decisions and enhance campaign performance, as well as, provide actionable insights that drive marketing effectiveness and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, optimize, and interpret marketing data from various sources and channels to generate insightful dashboards and reports that support strategic decision making
- Develop and share reports on marketing performance and KPIs
- Track KPIs to assess digital marketing campaigns and identify improvement opportunities
- Manage tracking codes, UTM links, and tagging strategies for accurate data collection
- Enhance reporting dashboards for data accuracy and consistency
- Communicate findings clearly to leadership and collaborate with teams to improve data flow and accuracy
- Integrate and validate various data sources
- Standardize data collection methods and ensure data integrity
- Optimize data sources and backend setups for reliable insights
- Streamline reporting processes for data-driven discussions
- Advocate for data-driven marketing strategies and decision-making
- Train business users on utilizing reports and analytics tools
- Promote data-driven insights and help stakeholders understand key metrics
- Work with external vendors to ensure proper integration of marketing data
- Provide guidance on KPIs and performance analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing data analysis, creating and distributing marketing analytics dashboards, and delivering actionable insights
- Expertise in Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, Salesforce Intelligence/Datorama, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and guide marketing strategies
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to invent and implement new processes as well as implement constructive feedback
