Senior Embedded Software Engineer

LER TechForce is looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to help support the development of low-level embedded software for e-axle and electric vehicle applications. Individuals with a significant background in embedded software engineering and a number of years of experience in successfully delivering projects in automotive or related disciplines would be a great fit for this role.

JOB LOCATION:

Remote, from US or Mexico; must work Eastern Standard Time Hours

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• System integration of AutoSAR Vector MCALs
• Assisting with configuration management, compiling, and linking
• Assist with establishing the build environment
• Software level testing and validation
• Working with Vector DaVinci Configurator and DaVinci Developer
• Prepare and give technical presentations on completed DCRs to cross-functional teams

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines.
• 3+ years coding experience in embedded C software development is required.
• Experience with Infineon Aurix microcontroller architecture, programming and interfacing is required.
• Experience with multi-core ECUs, dual or ideally tri-core
• Experience with AUTOSAR architecture is required.
• Experience with embedded control software development - hand coding is required.
• Experience in AUTOSAR configuration tools such as Vector DaVinci Configurator Pro

ESSENTIAL:

• Embedded C software development
• Autosar BSW development experience (I/O HW Abstraction, MCAL, CDD)
• Infineon Aurix microcontrollers
• Multi-core ECUs
• AutoSAR I/O Hardware Abstraction Layer
• AutoSAR MCAL Layer
• AutoSAR tool chain Elektrobit, ETAS or Vector (DaVinci Configurator)
• Good communicator - written and verbal
• Great collaborator

PREFERRED:

• Experience with e-mobility, including e-axles, motor generators, converters, inverters
• AutoSAR Complex Drivers
