We have a position for an embedded software engineer who has significant experience with embedded software development within the base software level of an AutoSAR environment.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the following areas:
- Real-time embedded software architecture and engineering principals.
- Experience with component based layered software architectures principles.
- Knowledgeable of defining and implementing architecture platforms for application across products lines that allows product differentiation across applications and markets. Prefer AutoSAR process and Vector tool chain (Preevision, DaVinci) experience.
- Experience in designing software systems using industry standard communication protocols (e.g. CAN2.0, CANFD, UDS, XCP, Ethernet, etc.)
- Deep understanding of the application of electronic powertrain control systems in commercial vehicle and industrial equipment.
- Deep understanding of the operating principles and common failure modes of electronic powertrain control system in commercial vehicle and industrial equipment applications to design for accommodation and reporting of system diagnostic faults.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the application of micro-controllers and related peripherals in electronic powertrain control systems in commercial vehicle and industrial equipment for the development of software device drivers, memory management and operating systems. (Aurix TC3xx or NXP – Mamba/Cobra)

What you'll need to be successful:
- 3-10 years of relevant experience within embedded software development
- Minimum Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science or Equivalent.
- AutoSAR experience, Adaptive or Classic
- Base software development (BSW)
- Vector tool chain (Preevision, Da Vinci Developer and Configurator, etc.)
- Communication protocol experience (CAN2.0, CANFD, UDS, XCP, Ethernet, etc.)
- Microcontroller experience
