Leorna is an early-stage startup building a centralized big-data platform that gives AI agents persistent, long-term "forever" memory. We're moving fast toward funding and go-to-market, and the product's interface is how people will experience something genuinely new — so we need a senior frontend engineer who is also a gifted UX/UI designer to own how it looks, feels, and works.

This is a design-and-build role: you'll shape the product experience AND ship the code. You set the bar for craft, polish, and usability as our first design-minded hire.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end product UX/UI — from concept and wireframes to high-fidelity design to shipped, production frontend.

• Build a fast, beautiful, accessible web app in a modern stack (e.g., React + TypeScript), with a clean, reusable component system.

• Design intuitive interfaces for complex, data-heavy and AI/agent interactions (chat, copilots, memory views).

• Craft delightful interactions and micro-animations; sweat the details on layout, type, motion, and performance.

• Run lightweight user research and usability testing, then iterate quickly.

• Establish and maintain Leorna's design system and visual language.

What we're looking for

• Senior-level frontend engineer who is also a strong, creative UX/UI designer — you design it and you build it.

• Deep React + TypeScript and modern CSS (Tailwind, CSS-in-JS, animation libraries like Framer Motion).

• A portfolio of polished, intuitive products you've designed and shipped; strong eye for craft and accessibility (a11y).

• Comfort moving fast with incomplete specs and taking founding-level ownership.

• You use AI tools daily and hold a current Claude or OpenAI Codex subscription (required).

Compensation & logistics

• Equity only right now (no cash before we close funding); cash salary plus additional equity once funding closes.
