Primary Responsibilities

Lead the development of the Abyss Design System for mobile applications, ensuring scalability, consistency, and usability across products
Design and implement frontend mobile components, setting a high standard for code quality and performance
Influence overall technical design, including frameworks, data flow patterns, automation strategies, and best practices
Champion reusability by promoting modular design and shared component libraries across teams
Author detailed design documentation for major component work to align stakeholders and guide implementation
Review and provide feedback on designs and code from peers, helping to shape team-wide solutions and design decisions
Solve technical challenges with thoughtful, reusable solutions that align with long-term goals
Continuously learn and apply feedback to improve future deliverables and team processes
Integrate proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting into all software deliverables as part of the definition of done

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
5+ years of experience in frontend development
5+ years of experience with TypeScript and JavaScript
3+ years of experience with React
3+ years of experience with React Native
3+ years of experience using Figma in a design-to-development workflow

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Figma CodeConnect or similar design-to-code tools

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
