Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Senior Specialist, Marketing Communications is responsible for leading the development and execution of product marketing campaigns and materials that effectively communicate technical and clinical value to external audiences. This role ensures that all customer-facing content aligns with brand, legal, and regulatory requirements while supporting product launches, commercial initiatives, and corporate events. The position serves as a key liaison between cross-functional stakeholders and creative partners to ensure the accuracy, clarity, and compliance of marketing communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the development and production of marketing materials, including brochures, sales tools, digital content, and trade show assets. Skilled at reviewing and refining scientific and technical content for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Independently manages full campaigns or product launches with minimal oversight.
  • Serve as the copy clearance reviewer and approver, ensuring all promotional content complies with regulatory, legal, and brand standards. Strong understanding of medical device marketing regulations (e.g., FDA, EU MDR).
  • Independently manages end-to-end project execution for product marketing campaigns, including timelines, resourcing, and approvals.
  • Support and contribute to the company’s social media, web content, and email marketing strategies in alignment with campaign goals.
  • Manages agency relationships for assigned projects; ensures quality and alignment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Product Management, Regulatory, Sales, and Clinical—to align messaging and marketing strategies.
  • Manages MarComm deliverables for key events; collaborates with Events Teams on messaging and presence.
  • Analyze campaign performance and market engagement to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Requirements, Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years of marketing communications, product management, sales, or other related experience.
  • Preferred experience in medical device or pharma industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Combined education and experience will be considered.
  • Ability to travel domestically estimated 10% travel

  • Crafts clear, audience-appropriate content and messaging; able to present to cross-functional teams.

  • Strong project management skills; able to prioritize, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, regulated setting
  • Demonstrates accountability for campaign success; resolves issues proactively.
  • Anticipates issues; applies judgment to resolve campaign/content challenges.
