Job Description
An employer is looking for a QA Performance Engineer to sit remotely. You will primarily be responsible for creating/ implementing performance testing efforts related to complex distributed systems, databases and large clustered datasets. You will focus on optimizing the overall product performance while partnering with development, QA and product teams. You will design/ execute performance testing strategies to identify existing bottlenecks in the hardware/ software platform, code stack and related cloud infrastructure. You will measure/ document reliable predictions on potential issues and communicate enhancements to engineering teams. You will also develop unique performance testing tools, analysis methodologies, as well as capacity planning. Additional tasks will include evaluating the AWS infrastructure for continued scalability/ stability and identify gaps/ issues for process improvement.

Skills And Requirements
5+ years experience in QA performance engineering
3+ years experience in code-first performance testing tools (k6, Gatling, etc.)
Experience with performance analysis tools (DataDog, Splunk, New Relic)
Strong Javascript, Typescript skills
Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, Kubernetes (Monitoring, scaling, troubleshooting)
Strong experience with API testing Devops or SRE background null
