Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a DevSecOps engineer to support a federal client. We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support on delivering large-scale CI/CD and container orchestration services across Hybrid Cloud environments. This role serves as the technical product owner for core DevSecOps tools—including CloudBees, Artifactory, SonarQube, and Snyk—ensuring their scalability, performance, and availability. The candidate will define and drive technical roadmaps for platform enhancements, security updates, and feature delivery, while providing architecture guidance and operational oversight for EKS clusters at scale. Collaboration with security and compliance teams is essential to meet FISMA Moderate and government-specific controls. The role also involves engaging with ADOs and CMS stakeholders to gather feedback, provide enablement resources, and represent DevSecOps services in governance and customer-facing forums. A strong focus on automation, standardization, and self-service capabilities for developers is key.
Compensation: $50/hr. -- 53/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
