Primary Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and/or support defining business requirements (i.e., business, functional and non-functional) for Optum Pro new capability development or enhancements to existing capabilities
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to document detailed business requirements
  • Define and maintain the project schedule to track/measure progress (e.g., status, milestones, tasks, deliverables) of Optum Pro capability enhancements or new market implementations
  • Communicate ongoing updates to all stakeholders to ensure understanding of and alignment with project status/changes; Support ongoing monitoring and adjustment of project scope/timelines/dependencies
  • Partner with applicable stakeholders to identify the operational impact of Optum Pro capability enhancements within defined operation teams processes (e.g., changes to policies/processes/procedures, compliance with applicable legal/regulatory requirements)
  • Define, coordinate and execute Optum Pro Operation teams’ user acceptance testing scenarios/scripts to ensure the system capability meets the requirements and specifications of the end-users
  • Facilitate and project manage claim and call center operations teams’ end to end testing of new Optum Pro capabilities
  • Define, execute and track yearly Optum Pro team Major Business Objectives (MBO)
  • Identify and track risk across functional applications/business areas to ensure the complete end-to-end impact is understood and defined in the early stages of a program or project
  • Ensure complete readiness during the execution phase following defined existing processes
  • Will work cross-functionally with teams broadly across the enterprise to engage with business resources, understand complex business models, and analyze data for performance outcomes
  • Partnering with Leadership on Operational benefits related to expanding existing technology or adding new technology
  • Create, control, and improve end-to-end business processes impacted by Technology implementations
  • Lead process design and project implementation teams in process improvement activities

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience eliciting and writing business requirements, documenting business process, or systems analysis
  • 3+ years of experience project managing cross functional project initiatives
  • Ability to strategize and think big picture
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly, concisely and persuasively at all levels of an organization
  • Intermediate experience using Microsoft Product Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a matrix environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build solid business relationships and influence change across organizational lines
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with customer portals

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
