Marketing Manager
Location : Hybrid location - 3 days a week onsite at 116 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA., 2 days remote. Open to remote for the right candidate must reside EST
Hours : Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
Long Term Contract, this is not a Direct Hire.
Position Summary
As the Marketing Manager on the Store Experience Strategy team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering and optimizing innovative retail formats and pilot experiences across locations. You will lead the end-to-end development and execution of engaging in-store initiatives—including optimizing strategic pilot formats such as health care delivery initiatives and localization initiatives —ensuring all elements are customer-centric, impactful, and enhances the overall experience. In this role, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally to create a seamless, consistent experience chain-wide that supports our goals. Your work will help transform our retail spaces into distinctive, beloved destinations for both customers and colleagues. Together, we aim to reimagine and elevate the in-store experience, driving stronger engagement, growth, and long-term value.
Duties
- End-to-End Project Delivery: Implement customer-focused physical format experience strategies and pilot initiatives, utilizing best practices while innovating new tactics to meet objectives.
- Creative Brief Development: Drive the creative brief process to ensure format initiatives optimize the customer experience. Gather and deliver creative feedback based on the approved strategy.
- Measurement Plans: Develop measurement plans for programs to evaluate and optimize work based on key program and customer insights to ensure we are constantly evolving to the meet the needs of our customers and the business.
- Data-Driven Insights: Leverage insights from various internal and external data sources to craft strategies and plans that enhance our messaging. Regularly visit stores, communicate with and gather feedback from field leadership, and conduct hindsight/retrospectives and competitor analyses.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at the Manager and Senior Manager levels, including Marketing partners, Delivery Management, Architecture & Engineering, Construction, Creative, Agency, Legal, Clinical, Finance, and Operations, to ensure alignment on initiatives.
- Signage Coordination: Oversee the prototyping, printing, and shipping of relevant signage and materials, ensuring proper delivery and maintenance of the envisioned experience.
- Budget Management: Track budget details for projects, own finance and POS submissions for each project and print job for monthly expense forecasts.
- Field Communications: Develop and coordinate field-facing communications for key projects, ensuring clarity and consistency in messaging, in partnership with Operations
- Process Evaluation and Improvement: Identify and implement new opportunities and process enhancements for workstreams to gain efficiencies and achieve more effective outcomes in delivering formats and pilots at scale.
Experience
- 5+ years of marketing or store operations experience with a solid foundation in business, retail, and consumer understanding
3+ years of experience in retail marketing, shopper marketing, store experience, or retail agency/strategy
5+ years of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Self-Motivated: High-capacity individual who thrives in a demanding, performance-driven environment and makes thoughtful decisions under tight deadlines. Proven ability to manage a portfolio of projects on time and on budget.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to articulate ideas simply and effectively in both written and oral forms across diverse audiences. Demonstrated experience communicating progress and risks to Senior Managers/Directors, along with proposed risk mitigation solutions.
- Collaborative Track Record: Proven ability to work with internal and external partners across levels to deliver business results.
- Creative Collaboration Experience: Prior experience working with creative agencies, providing strategic direction, feedback, and ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
- Intellectual Curiosity: Willingness to question the status quo to drive improvements and optimizations.
- Retail Environment Familiarity: Strong understanding of the in-store retail environment and the physical and digital end-to-end consumer shopping experience.
- Matrixed Organization Experience: Experience working in a highly matrixed organization.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficiency in experience management platforms like Medallia is a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
