Description

Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer II Location: Remote Canada or US Employment Type: Consultant with enhance benefits Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded software for farming machine automation systems including perception, autonomous navigation/guidance, and robotics
  • Design and implement software architectures integrating NVIDIA Jetson modules (e.g., AGX Orin, Xavier).
  • Optimize CUDA-based AI models for high-performance inference on embedded systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure hardware and software integration.
  • Assist with the deployment and testing of AI models in real-world scenarios
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and advancements in GPU computing and embedded AI systems

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Familiar with CUDA programming and NVIDIA Jetson platforms.
  • Understanding of AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or ONNX.
  • Experience in C++ programming language
  • Intermediate level experience in embedded systems and GPU optimization techniques
  • Ability to create supporting documentation such as design documents, architecture diagrams, test procedures and reports.
  • Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to professionally support periodic communication to management and technical teams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment. Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the off highway heavy machinery, automotive or industrial control industry
  • Experience designing software for a distributed network for CAN or Ethernet communication

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
