About the Role:
We are seeking a strategic, resourceful, and execution-focused Brand Manager to oversee the development, growth, and management of several early-stage legal brands under a unified umbrella. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple brand identities simultaneously, and is capable of producing lean, high-impact marketing initiatives focused on client acquisition and digital presence.
You will work directly with the founder and select team members to shape the voice, look, and performance of legal platforms that span from consumer-facing services to B2B legal partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Brand Development & Positioning
• Define and maintain clear brand guidelines across 3+ legal sub-brands
• Assist with high-level visual identity decisions (e.g., logo input, tone of voice, content tone).
• Develop branding and foundational positioning for new legal services or initiatives.
Digital Presence & Campaign Launches
• Oversee development of landing pages, websites, and SEO basics for new practice areas and product launches.
• Manage outsourced designers or developers as needed to meet brand timelines and quality expectations.
• Create and maintain a simple but consistent presence across Google Business, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social channels.
Product & Offer Marketing
• Launch and iterate digital offers (e.g., “Get a free consultation,” “Join the waitlist,” or “Submit your case”) using basic performance marketing principles.
• Coordinate intake form branding and UX for each service vertical.
• Track engagement data (form submissions, page views, click-throughs) and recommend optimizations.
PR & Reputation
• Build and maintain light PR initiatives (features, testimonials, partnerships).
• Support personal brand clean-up and visibility for the founder, including basic LinkedIn and Google presence.
Legal-Specific Oversight
• Ensure compliance across legal-focused marketing (e.g., disclaimers, call-to-actions, ethical limitations).
• Coordinate with attorneys and vetted law firms to present profiles, bios, and brand assets on platforms like Simply Legal.
Ideal Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of brand management or marketing experience (agency or startup preferred).
• Strong portfolio managing B2C or B2B digital brands, ideally with service-driven products.
• Demonstrated ability to launch and manage websites, landing pages, and branded content.
• Experience working with legal or highly regulated industries (strong plus).
• Able to work with modest budgets, prioritize ROI-driven activities, and avoid “fluff” marketing.
• Proficient in managing vendors or freelancers (e.g., web dev, SEO, design).
• Familiarity with tools like Canva, Figma, Webflow, WordPress, or similar.
• Strategic thinker who is execution-minded — someone who can do the work and improve the strategy.
Nice to Have:
• Knowledge of SEO, content strategy, and performance marketing fundamentals.
• Experience managing multiple sub-brands under a larger holding company.
• Light PR/media relations experience.
