Paid Acquisition Strategist / Performance Marketing Lead

Job Description:

We're seeking a dedicated Google & Facebook Ads Specialist to join our fast-growing agency, where we focus on scaling startups from ideation through Series B. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for driving client success through meticulously crafted Google Ads and Facebook Ads campaigns. You'll be the go-to person for all things Google Ads and Facebook Ads across our diverse client base, with the potential to expand into managing other channels and tactics as you grow with us. This is a fully remote position with flexible hours—both time of day and total hours—where you can truly own your work and the impact it has for clients.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management: Develop, execute, and manage high-performing Google Ads and Facebook Ads campaigns that align with client growth goals.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients looking to start, grow, or scale in Paid Search and Paid Social, ensuring their goals are met and expectations are managed.
  • Strategy Implementation: Persistently test and optimize every aspect of the account, including copy, landing pages, and other major levers across both Google and Facebook platforms.
  • Collaboration: Provide insights to clients as well as the team internally on ways to improve the value we provide to clients.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and adjust budgets across both Google and Facebook platforms to ensure optimal allocation of funds and efficiency while meeting any client-specific budget goals.
  • Technical Proficiency & Tracking Setup: Set up events, tracking, and ensure best practices are followed, adopting new features or processes as needed. This includes proficient use of Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Facebook Pixel for accurate tracking setup as well as event setup, QA, and technical implementation of event tracking both within Google Ads and Facebook Ads ecosystems.
  • Persistent Communication: Maintain regular communication with the team and clients via Slack and ClickUp.

What We’re Searching For:

  • Proven Performance: A portfolio, case studies, or resume showcasing successful management of both Google Ads and Facebook Ads campaigns with quantifiable results.
  • Technical Expertise: A robust technical understanding of both Google Ads and Facebook Ads platforms, including tools, functions, and in-depth knowledge of tracking systems like Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Facebook Pixel for tracking and event setups.
  • Strategic Thinker: Strong understanding of PPC/SEM principles and how paid search fits within broader marketing strategies, along with a strong grasp of paid social strategies on Facebook.
  • Efficient Project Management: Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Team Player: A collaborative mindset with an openness to giving and receiving feedback.
  • Clear Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, crucial for team collaborations and client interactions.

Requirements:

  • Focused Expertise in Google & Facebook Ads: Proven experience in managing both Google Ads and Facebook Ads accounts with a strong understanding of optimization techniques.
  • Digital Marketing Skills: A deep interest in and understanding of current and emerging digital marketing trends.
  • Professional Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a digital ad agency or startup, with a significant focus on PPC/SEM & Paid Social.
  • Preferred: Google Ads Certification and Facebook Blueprint Certification.
