Graphic Designer (YouTube)

We're looking for a creative Graphic Designer who understands that a YouTube thumbnail isn't just a design—it's a marketing asset.

Your primary responsibility will be to create high-converting, scroll-stopping YouTube thumbnails for our IELTS preparation channel. The ideal candidate understands visual storytelling, click psychology, typography, composition, and branding, and can transform a video idea into a thumbnail that drives clicks without resorting to clickbait.

• Responsibilities

• Design high-quality YouTube thumbnails that maximize click-through rate (CTR).Create multiple thumbnail concepts when required for A/B testing.Collaborate with content strategists, scriptwriters, and video editors to understand the video's core hook.Research competitors and identify thumbnail trends within the education and YouTube creator space.Ensure consistency with Leap Scholar's brand guidelines.Deliver thumbnails within agreed timelines while maintaining high quality.Iterate quickly based on feedback and performance insights.Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience in graphic design or YouTube thumbnail design.Strong portfolio showcasing YouTube thumbnails or similar high-impact digital creatives.Excellent command over Adobe Photoshop (mandatory).Strong understanding of typography, hierarchy, color theory, composition, and photo manipulation.Ability to create clean, premium, modern, and attention-grabbing designs.Understanding of YouTube click psychology and what makes users stop scrolling.Ability to source and manipulate images professionally.Strong attention to detail and willingness to experiment with new creative ideas.Bonus Skills

• Experience designing for educational or EdTech brands. Familiarity with AI-powered design tools. Knowledge of YouTube analytics, CTR, and A/B testing. Experience working in a fast-paced content environment.
