Title: Web Designer
Contract Duration: 6+ months
Location: Remote
Pay Rate: $65/hr - $80/hr on W2
We're seeking a skilled Web Designer to create a consumer products website. One section will be public and internal-facing, while the other involves a sign-in portal accessible to business partners
Front-end web experience is required. Salesforce experience is a nice-to-have but not essential—the focus is on strong front-end skills.
Your New Role
The Salesforce Developer will handle coding, configuration, maintenance, testing, debugging, timeline management, and technical documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Dedication to innovative, sophisticated designs and collaborative problem-solving.
- Experience planning/developing websites across multiple products/organizations.
- Extensive knowledge of web applications, programming languages, web services—including API, CSS, CSS3, cross-browser compatibility, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, security principles, REST, SOAP, and web UI design.
- Proficiency with CMS like WordPress and Drupal.
- Experience with Windows and Linux environments.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills.
- Self-starter mindset.
- Willingness to learn team tools like MuleSoft, GitHub Actions & Workflows, Playwright.
- Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certificate required.
Key Accountabilities
- Meet regularly with stakeholders and managers to review business/functional requirements, define project scopes, and set specifications.
- Develop and maintain operational systems, tools, processes; contribute to tactical and strategic projects.
- Ensure software stability through regression testing, support QA, and perform unit/user-acceptance testing to identify bugs.
- Make small customer-requested edits, plan larger projects, and suggest website improvements.
- Perform UI design/coding; create reusable objects and wireframes for web pages and email templates.
- Conduct regular file backups to local directories.
- Maintain 85%+ test coverage with best-practice test cases.
- Ensure high service-level availability for applications and integrations.
- Design new Salesforce solutions and produce execution plans.
- Participate in testing, training, documentation, code reviews, and maintain quality/consistency standards.
- Implement designs collaboratively with engineers, product managers, and users.
- Share technical solutions and product ideas with the team.
- Understand relationships, dependencies, and impacts across business functions, systems, applications, and platforms.
- Contribute to status reports, risk, and issue logs.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Deliverables
- Working applications or automations.
- High-quality clean code, comments, and technical documentation.
- All code repository artifacts (pull requests, branches, comments).
