Head of Marketing & Distribution (Insurance)

Le Meas Executive Search are delighted to partner with a Multinational Insurer to hire a Head of Marketing & Distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Sales teams need to support Partners, while fully leveraging initiatives already in place.
• Build an in-depth understanding of the Protection markets across all countries and potential new countries.
• Analyse and understand market trends, value propositions currently in place and keep abreast of any changing trends.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding and mapping of Partners, end-customers expectations and competitors reviews.
• Facilitate and run workshops with Partners to fully understand and proactively anticipate their needs.
• Conduct benchmarks, market watches, customer surveys, mystery shopping, focus groups.
• Create market analysis reports.
• Collaborate with European / local market research agencies and purchase of research studies on specific topics related to the company business.
• Design mid-term overarching product innovation roadmap in close collaboration with internal Sales Teams and Partners in full compliance with the underwriting policy of the company.
• Lead Project Management on feasibility studies of proposed new products across functions.
• Lead Project management on product documentation / marketing pitches, registration, in close co-operation with compliance teams.
• Design, propose and implement corresponding material / programs to promote existing and new products.
• Build Corporate presentation template / tender pitch to support Internal sales teams.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Business School / University – Marketing qualification or equivalent (Master’s degree)
• 10 -15 years professional experience, ideally in the Insurance, Retail Banking or Consumer Credit
• Knowledgeable in designing innovative end-to-end Product Value Propositions
• Organised, analytical, dynamic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in English is necessary.
• German and French language an advantage
