Job Overview
Our design team is tasked with envisioning AI products that have real-world impact. We have full reign to think expansively and strategically about AI's role in helping humans navigate and use data.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Visual Designer to join our innovative team. As a Visual Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating marketing material, presentations, diagrams, and additional visualizations and media that effectively communicate our foundation models and software products. You will work closely with our design, sales/marketing, and leadership teams to improve the overall quality of our communication.
Responsibilities
- Define and develop a cohesive visual identity for Lazarus AI.
- Hands-on creation of assets to enhance Lazarus AI's visual presence across all touch-points, such as branding, posters, presentations, web page designs, illustrations, environmental designs, and infographics.
- Work directly with the leadership team and senior stakeholders to present design concepts, gather feedback, and achieve buy-in for visual design strategies.
- Collaborate closely with product design to apply the established visual design framework to the user interface, ensuring a consistent and engaging user experience.
- Design visually appealing and informative data visualizations to present AI-driven insights and solutions that align with the Lazarus brand.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, related field, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of professional experience in visual design, branding, and marketing, with a strong portfolio demonstrating past work
- Experience designing for events, conferences, and trade shows
- Strong conceptual and creative skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Slides, Keynote, and similar tools
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale effectively to diverse audiences, including senior leaders
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- The ability to execute quick turnaround tasks effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product designers, sales team members, and other stakeholders, to translate design visions into functional and visually compelling solutions
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies
- Experience designing B2B, SaaS, or cloud products (Product design)
- Experience in animation and video editing
- Excellent understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices for designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
- Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
