Energy/Data Center Technology Construction Platform – Remote Full Stack Software Engineering Opportunity

I'm searching for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join my client, a fast-growing energy technology company that builds software platforms to digitally design, model, and construct large scale renewable energy infrastructure projects. Their focus is on turning complex engineering and construction data into accurate living 3D + data model that teams use to plan, validate, and execute multi-million-dollar solar projects.

You will be part of a team responsible for building a critical internal platform used to onboard and model large utility-scale construction projects. You’ll work across the full stack, developing intuitive front-end workflows for spatial and map-based data while building backend services that model real-world physical layouts, timelines, and relationships. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys solving problems, working closely with engineers and product teams, and building software that directly impacts real-world infrastructure.

Key requirements:

• Strong experience with Python and Django (including Django REST Framework) for building backend services and APIs
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks, ideally Angular (React or Vue also acceptable), building complex, interactive workflows
• Solid background with relational databases and data modeling, including PostgreSQL
• Exposure to GIS or spatial data concepts, ideally with PostGIS or similar technologies
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications in cloud environments (Ideally AWS or Azure/GCP)

Preferred experience:

• Experience working with CAD or DXF files, engineering drawings, or geometric data processing
• Background in GIS, spatial algorithms, or computational geometry
