• Design, deploy, and scale AI and Generative AI models/solutions using AWS Sagemaker (CRITICAL).
• Implement, support, and evaluate enterprise data science toolkits, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Develop predictive models and perform statistical and machine learning analysis on healthcare claims and related data.
• Automate data ingestion, preparation, model training, prediction, and delivery processes.
• Monitor and optimize machine learning model performance, making improvements as necessary.
• Apply semantic data capabilities using NLP, text analysis, and advanced ML techniques.
• Promote standards, best practices, and alignment with enterprise data science principles.
• Communicate technical insights/findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss, prioritize, and report on project tasks and progress.
• Support extension of ML services to additional business cases and new plans joining the platform.
• Perform data sourcing, transformation, storage, and integration tasks as needed.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years in a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer role.
• Expertise in AWS (Sagemaker, Lambda, S3, AppFlow), Python, and SQL (Snowflake a plus).
• Proven experience in deploying, scaling, and monitoring ML models in production environments.
• Healthcare experience, especially in health insurance and claims processing, highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and transparently within a team.
