Data Scientist

Pay rate: $40.00/hr to $48.00/hr on W2

Location: 100% Remote

Covering for a leave.

Key projects:

• Focused on reporting and analytics.
• This role will be working with people reporting in workday and focused on analytics.
• Dashboard refreshes.
• Interfacing with teams on business needs and talent insights for metrics needed.
• Working with a lot of teams in p&c
• Refreshing dashboards, stepping in for adhoc analysis projects.

Must Have Skills / Requirements

1. Minimum 3 years of Experience in advanced data mining techniques and tools such as R and Python, and familiar with manipulating large-scale structured and unstructured data

2. Minimum 2 years of experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

3. Experience in transforming goals/requests into visual story to help end users identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement

4. Expertise in analytics, including advanced statistical analysis, data modeling, and insightful data interpretation

5. Utilize discretion and judgement to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data

Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements

1. Experience in HR system transactions preferred

2. Consulting experience with a management consulting/software company preferred

Education / Certifications

1. High School diploma or equivalent required

2. Bachelor or higher degree in engineering or quantitative discipline, or equivalent combination of training and work experience
