We are seeking a Senior Product Designer (2 month Contract) to join our growing team at LakefrontAI! In this role, you will own the end-to-end design process—from discovery and research to high-fidelity UI—and play a key role in shaping the product experiences across our web and mobile platforms. Key Responsibilities

Product Design Ownership: Lead the design of new features and enhancements for both mobile and web platforms.
User Research & Insights: Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and analyze data to drive design decisions and align with product goals.
Design Systems: Help build and evolve our design system to ensure scalability, speed, and visual coherence across all products.
Interaction & Visual Design: Deliver detailed user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity visuals, and interactive prototypes.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define problems and iterate on elegant solutions.
User Advocacy: Champion user-centered thinking and infuse empathy into every part of the product development lifecycle.
Mentorship & Leadership: Support junior designers through feedback and contribute to building a strong design culture.

Required Qualifications & Skills

4+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or interaction design roles.
A compelling portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work across mobile and web platforms.
Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma).
Solid understanding of visual and interaction design fundamentals with strong attention to detail.
Experience working on consumer-facing digital products with measurable impact.
Familiarity with user research methods and ability to translate insights into design outcomes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Awareness of front-end development constraints and capabilities.

Bonus Experience

Prior experience working in startups or fast-paced product environments.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript to support developer collaboration.
Experience designing for AI platforms, marketplaces, or SaaS tools.
Familiarity with analytics platforms.
