For our client, we are seeking a Visual Designer II to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will shape motion-forward visual experiences that improve clarity, storytelling, and customer understanding across digital touchpoints. You will own design work from concept through implementation, bringing together motion, interaction, and product design to create polished, production-ready experiences. The position partners closely with cross-functional teams and engineering to deliver reusable systems and assets that strengthen the overall product experience.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $101,000 – $151,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Design motion-forward experiences across various platforms, emphasizing clarity and storytelling.
- Create animations and interaction patterns that enhance customer comprehension.
- Own visual and motion design projects from concept to implementation, ensuring high-quality craft.
- Contribute to product design by mapping user flows and developing interaction concepts.
- Create reusable visual assets and motion patterns to strengthen product systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive experiences.
- Prepare production-ready assets and work with engineers to ensure proper implementation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in motion, animation, visual, communication, or product design in a product-driven environment.
- Portfolio showcasing strong motion and visual design skills, including animation and storytelling.
- Proficient in animation principles and tools like After Effects, LottieFiles, and Rive.
- Mastery of design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and production constraints, especially for email and mobile.
- Experience in UX and product design, with a focus on user flows and interaction design.
- Ability to storyboard and communicate design decisions effectively.
