Staff Software Engineer, Solana Staking Protocol

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer Solana Staking Protocol to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $218,025 – $256,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the company’s multi-year strategy for Solana staking and validator performance
• Lead efforts to optimize staking yields through advanced validator mechanics
• Serve as the technical authority on Solana's runtime, consensus, and staking economics
• Collaborate with product teams to integrate scalable staking solutions across the company
• Represent the company in the Solana ecosystem, influencing protocol governance and community engagement
• Build infrastructure for validator operations and mentor engineers on Solana expertise

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with hands-on Solana protocol expertise
• Proficient in Rust and/or Go for building complex distributed infrastructure
• Established connections within the Solana ecosystem, including the Solana Foundation and major validators
• Ability to define and implement long-term technical strategies across teams
• Familiarity with Solana's staking developments and comparative PoS protocols
• Experience employing generative AI responsibly to improve workflow
