Staff Software Engineer, Partnerships

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer Partnerships to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $221,000 – $279,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural direction for the Partnerships platform, ensuring scalability and efficiency
• Create reusable integration patterns for partner integrations to streamline future partnerships
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align partnership goals with the core platform roadmaps
• Define technical standards and integration playbooks in collaboration with product and partner teams
• Represent the technical perspective of Partnerships in cross-functional discussions

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on large-scale backend or full-stack systems
• Experience in a technical lead or Staff-level role
• Proven track record in designing and evolving platforms or integration frameworks with clear contracts and reuse
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and APIs, including reliability, observability, and performance
• Experience mentoring engineers and guiding them through system design and execution
