Staff Software Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. You’ll build and maintain systems that power mission-critical Enterprise Technology workflows. You’ll collaborate with product and peers to design clean, scalable solutions. This role values craftsmanship, impact, and ownership.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $168,000 – $269,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain resilient and scalable systems pivotal for customer success
• Lead and manage complex cross-team projects to enhance functionality and reliability
• Create innovative solutions while balancing trade-offs for future requirements
• Communicate technical strategies and ensure team adherence to quality practices
• Enhance engineering productivity as a catalyst for team performance
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through targeted optimizations
• Utilize AI tools to streamline development processes and innovate workflows

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with complex production services
• Proven experience in developing high-scale distributed systems
• Strong leadership skills in guiding technical projects and teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas
• Demonstrated growth mindset focused on continuous improvement
• Ability to make impactful technical decisions for business objectives
