Staff Software Engineer, Data Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Data Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will shape high-impact initiatives at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution. You will partner across technical and business teams to turn complex ideas into scalable solutions and meaningful outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to influence both roadmap priorities and long-term organizational capability.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $202,400 – $253,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own and define the technical roadmap for the company’s enterprise data architecture
• Design and implement secure, scalable data solutions for cross-functional analytics
• Lead the design of logical and physical data models for enterprise metrics and dashboards
• Establish data quality and governance standards for defining core data concepts
• Collaborate on delivering core data products that support analytics and reporting needs
• Mentor engineers and model organizational values through technical leadership

Qualifications

• 8+ years in scalable data platform development and production pipeline management
• Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives and architectural decision-making
• Proficient with cloud data ecosystems (AWS) and modern data warehouses like Redshift and Snowflake
• Strong background in OLTP and OLAP data modeling for reusable BI and reporting solutions
• Hands-on experience in data quality and governance frameworks in sensitive environments
