Staff Software Engineer, AI Product

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer AI Product to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance early-stage AI systems for user experience improvements
• Define AI innovation strategy in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Translate complex problems into structured engineering solutions based on data analysis
• Promote technical excellence and mentorship in AI development practices
• Influence team development through hiring and process improvements

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Software Engineering experience, including 2+ years in generative AI product development
• Experience in prototyping and launching successful 0?1 projects
• Full lifecycle experience in early-phase AI development, from ideation to production and maintenance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on technical documentation
• Ability to relate modeling and analytical tasks to business value
