Staff Design Program Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Design Program Manager to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will drive large-scale initiatives from planning through delivery with a strong focus on governance, coordination, and outcomes. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders, operators, and leadership teams to keep priorities aligned and execution on track. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise programs that require structure, visibility, and sustained impact.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $168,000 – $177,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Drive program delivery for complex design initiatives across multiple teams
• Build AI workflows to automate reporting and stakeholder communications
• Manage vendor relationships and optimize design tooling operations
• Establish systems for resource planning and workflow integration
• Collaborate with the Design System team to scale program usage
• Translate vision into actionable models and run planning cycles

Qualifications

• 12+ years in program management or design operations delivering cross-functional initiatives
• Hands-on knowledge of design systems and modern product development lifecycles
• Technical fluency with design systems and engineering collaboration
• Proven experience building scalable operational systems from the ground up
• Strong familiarity with AI applications for workflow automation
• Expertise in vendor and contract management for design tools and services
• Proficient in design and program management tools like Figma and Jira
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
