For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer II AI Platform to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $130,900 – $198,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve core AI platform capabilities for GenAI-powered applications
- Design and implement shared execution patterns, APIs, and services
- Develop scalable, reliable backend systems for AI experiences
- Work hands-on across the stack from backend services to AI integrations
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to turn AI use cases into production-ready capabilities
Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with large-scale systems
- Hands-on experience with GenAI-powered systems in production
- Experience designing GenAI workflows including multi-step reasoning pipelines
- Proven track record in building distributed systems with asynchronous workflows
- Strong programming proficiency in Python and experience with GenAI frameworks
- Familiarity with GenAI quality and safety considerations
- Strong product sense and ability to work in cross-functional teams
