Sr. Software Engineer - FOS

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Software Engineer - FOS to join the team of a leader in the Media space. You’ll build and maintain systems that power mission-critical Media workflows. You’ll collaborate with product and peers to design clean, scalable solutions. This role values craftsmanship, impact, and ownership.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $148,000 – $175,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to scalable and secure application architecture design and implementation
• Lead team through full software development lifecycle for SaaS products
• Drive adoption of software engineering best practices, including CI/CD and automated testing
• Oversee legacy application modernization with minimal disruption to customers
• Ensure SOC2 compliance through daily workflows and evidence collection
• Model clean coding practices and guide team through peer reviews
• Collaborate across teams for seamless application deployment and integration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; Master's preferred
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering
• 5 years of experience in SaaS application development
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages, especially C#, React, Node.js, Python, and TypeScript; VB.NET preferred
• Experience with SOC2 type2 certification maintenance in SaaS products
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and DevOps practices
• Experience leading hybrid onshore and offshore teams
