Sr Director , Data Science

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Director , Data Science to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This leader will guide quantitative science efforts that inform oncology development decisions across a complex, matrixed organization.

The role will shape mechanistic modeling strategies, support dose selection and trial design, and contribute to regulatory-ready outputs that influence clinical and submission strategy.

It will also partner closely with cross-functional scientific and regulatory stakeholders while mentoring a team of quantitative scientists.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $210,400 – $331,100 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and shape the QSP strategy across the oncology portfolio to align with organizational goals
• Mentor and develop a team of quantitative scientists in a matrixed structure
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams for mechanistic modeling to aid dose selection and trial design
• Ensure production of regulatory-grade QSP deliverables for submissions and meetings
• Contribute to regulatory strategy through comprehensive reporting and presentations
• Promote a culture of scientific excellence and innovation through best practices in QSP modeling
• Represent the organization at key scientific conferences and industry forums

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's/PharmD with 10-15 years of experience in pharmaceutical drug development
• Deep expertise in quantitative pharmacology, PK-PD modeling, and systems pharmacology
• Extensive experience in developing mechanistic PK-PD and QSP models for clinical decision-making
• Oncology therapy experience is essential; experience with ADCs/T-cell engagers is preferred
• Proficient in programming languages or modeling packages such as MATLAB, R, or Python
