For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Data Scientist Trust And Safety to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $139,764 – $287,749 annually
Responsibilities
- Design ML-assisted sampling techniques to measure unsafe content prevalence
- Apply statistical methods to calculate prevalence rates of policy violations
- Build large-scale data pipelines for safety labeling
- Collaborate to create 'Offline' dashboards and 'Online' workflows for safety monitoring
- Translate safety policies into unified LLM prompts and manage labeling queues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interest in Trust & Safety, with hands-on experience in adversarial testing
- Deep understanding of measurement challenges in complex ecosystems
- Proven ability to design and calibrate measurement frameworks
- Strong programming skills in Python and hands-on experience with SQL/Spark
- Experience managing ambiguous projects with high ownership
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with executive leadership
